Paula Fudge
Paula Fudge (née Yeoman; born 30 March 1952) is a retired female long-distance runner from England, who competed in the late 1970s and the 1980s in the women's marathon and half marathon. Fudge set her personal best (2:29:47) in the classic distance on 30 October 1988, finishing in third place at the Chicago Marathon. On 13 September 1981 she set world record for the 5000 metres in 15.14.51, the first recognised women's 5000m world record by the IAAF.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.britishathletics.org.uk/e-inspire/hall-of-fame-athletes/paula-fudge/ )〕 This record remained the British National record until 1985 when it was broken by Zola Budd.
